Yeah, I totally realized that June was over. Didn’t forget to post at all. Not me. Not ever. Nope. 😅
Anyway, here’s the playlist for June. It features some songs that relate to summer and a few that we’ve just been listening to lately.
As it’s Judi making this post, any and all songs you don’t like are definitely suggestions from Sasha and Briahna. Please direct all complaints to them. Any songs you do like are… probably also suggestions from Sasha and Briahna, to be honest. I think I only contributed one or two of these.
Onwards! It’s time to announce the new theme for July. Drumroll, please.
The theme is… the internet! We love it, we hate it, and we can’t live without it, so why not talk about it for a month? We’ll admire cute cats and complain about awful YouTube comments, and Sasha will almost certainly take this opportunity to post memes. If that sounds like something you want to see, stick around and see what we post here on Media Monthly this July.
The theme is summer, and I thought there would be no better way of expressing this than to go outside on a one hundred degree day (Fahrenheit, so don’t worry too much) while rambling about what summer means to me. Then Briahna makes a pun.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, here’s the video:
As an added bonus, I’m 12% sure the audio is better than it was in the last video (though that’s not saying much).
If you want to watch the last video anyway, you can check it out on the youtube channel.

Thoughts on Summer
Summer is a time
For new beginnings
For summer is a season
Strung between school years
A time for new romance
A time for fun vacations
A time for cash work
All contained within this one season
And for adults?
Summer is no different
Than any other time
Of the year
They just have to figure out
Where to send their children
Since there no more school
At what point
Do we make this transition
From summer fun to nothingness?
After high school?
It is different for everyone
Depending on each person’s
As for me
I can feel the transition happening
With a job and siblings to care for
Summer is still fun
But also a lot of work
Is that the way it has always been?
Has summer always been
A balance between work
And having fun?
That is what summer
A time to learn
How to balance playing hard
With working hard
So that at other times of the year
We can all still have
Summer time fun
